ABOUT LISA MEAD
- Lisa Mead has resided in Naples since 1980. Leaving behind a successful career in business management, she returned to school and obtained her law degree from Nova Southeastern University. For almost 20 years she worked for the State Attorney's Office that serves Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties. During that time she tried hundreds of cases for the State of Florida and learned the importance of contributing to fair and equitable criminal justice and the effective protection of citizens against crime. She performed her duties fairly and consistently and always ensured that a defendant's due process rights were protected. When charges were unfounded or an individuals' rights were violated she did not initiate or continue prosecution irregardless of social, religious, racial, cultural or sexual status or prior criminal history.
- Ms. Mead was involved with the Collier County Public School system for 30 years as a parent, volunteer and attorney. She has established numerous contacts over the years and her goals are to assist and aid in the rehabilitation of those juveniles struggling with drug or social issues. She participated in the High School Mock Trial Competition as a coach for over 8 years and enjoys working with and mentoring young adults.
